By the time the 2nd delay was over there were only about a couple of
hundred people left in the ball park if that many. There was a small
section of SI fans on the 3rd base side making some noise. However
the Cyclone fans made more. Not too many people stuck around after
the last out to celebrate because the game ended really late.
The defence was great only one error that came in the 9th.
Boushards(sp?)injury didn't seem that serious. Yes he was hit in the
helmet, but the ball seemed to have just tipped it. I thought he
would finish the game. However I guess it was more serious then it
looked, and Alfonso didn't want to take any chances, and took him out
of the game.
We also found out that Lucas Duda can play a pretty decent outfield
too. I really liked the team this season they really seemed to battle
every game. The hitting has been kind of light the last couple of
weeks but they do hit when they need it.
Lets keep our fingers crossed we haven't been this close since 2001.
I want to win a Championship on the field.
