Oh, I remember my first "Bronson sighting." I actually first saw his
picture in a 1998 Pirates magazine and I said to my friend (in an
awkward way), "Bronson...Arroyo...what the heck kind of a name is
that??", even though he was sort of cute (see the gallery pics and
you'll see the pic I'm talking about).

Then, in midseason, 2000, the Pirates brought him up from AAA to help
out, as our team was full of injuries. During the game, they showed
him on TV in the dugout (with no hat on) as the announcers were
talking about him. My dad said to me, "Hey, there's that new kid
they brought up today..." and I looked at the TV and was
like, "Whoa! Not bad!" thinking about how he looked nothing like
that picture in the magazine!

I met him for the first time about a month later during Camera Day
and as he shyly said hi and looked at me and smiled, I remember
thinking to myself, "WOW! Pictures do absolutely NOTHING for you!"
LOL Over the last 10 years, I've watched him grow and mature into
the gorgeous man he is today and I must say, he gets better looking
with age, as a lot of men do! LOL Okay, off topic, sorry... ;)

Anyway...what are some other Bronson fans' first sightings of him?
