In Britball.com today, we look ahead to the start of the new NBL men's
season. Plus we list all the BBL fixtures for the forthcoming campaign.

Chester Jets signed 6'7 American forward / centre Loren Meyer, who
previously played for Dallas, Denver and Phoenix in the NBA. Meyer
replaces Tony Rampton who has been released.

Newcastle Arena will stage the 2001 BBL All Star Game. Birmingham's NIA
will host the uni-ball trophy final.

Edinburgh Rocks re-signed US guard Ted Berry for a third season.

Derby Storm signed ex-Leicester Riders guards Hilroy Thomas and Gene
Waldron.

Leicester Riders re-signed UK guard Karl Brown.

Worthing Thunder signed American duo Torquin Gresham, a 6'7" forward
from Georgia State and Vandale Thomas.

Plymouth Raiders signed Canadian forward Peter Knechtel who spent last
term with Worthing.

Sutton Pumas have captured Canadian Ebong Eka who played in Switzerland
for Cossonay last season

Inter-Basket signed ex-Leopards guard Gianni Letteri and former England
international guard Andrew Bailey.

Plymouth Racers have confirmed the signing of 5'11" Canadian forward
Rita Rieksts.

Cardiff Phoenix have withdrawn from NBL Division One while Flintshire
Flyers folded from Division Two.

Killester signed American forward John Leahy, who spent the past two
seasons with Star of the Sea.

Greg Lockridge will not be coaching Clare Jets next season as previously
announced.

EBBA Technical Director Alan Richardson re-signed to take up a post with
ULEB.

England international Silas Cheung retired from playing. The guard, 27,
has accepted a post as assistant coach at Carolina Coastal University
along side ex-Irish national coach Enda Byrt.
