Leicester Riders signed forward Billy Singleton for a second spell with
the club. The American spent last term at Thames Valley Tigers. Riders
also added 6'3 American guard Freddie Coles who signs straight out of
Bethune-Cookman College.
Newcastle Eagles signed 6'5 US forward Tony Windless from Milton Keynes.
Westfield Sharks Sheffield signed 6'4" British forward Andrew Bridge
from Mansfield Express.
The lined up for the Newtonabbey Invitational Tournament in Belfast
(8-10 September) is: Star of the Sea, Pertemps Bullets Birmingham,
Renault Leicester Riders, Newcastle Eagles, Frosties Tigers Tralee and
Visions Washington.
Coventry Crusaders re-signed guard Manny Shareland.
UWIC Cardiff named Mark Royal as coach.
