In Britball today, news on London Towers Saporta Cup campaign..


Derby Storm signed rookie American forward, 6’5" Darrian Evans, 23, from
the University of South Alabama.

Leicester Riders signed veteran England guard Kevin St Kitts. St Kitts,
35, re-joined Manchester Giants late last season, playing 18 regular
season games at 4.89 points apiece.

Brighton Bears released Canadian forward Bill Crowdis

Chester Jets signed 22 year old non-permit American Carlos Brown, a
graduate of the College of Charleston.

Plymouth Raiders re-signed American G/F Ray Blackwell for a second
campaign. Raiders second import spot goes to 6'5 US forward Michael
Schantz who will face his rookie pro season out of Hamilton College.
Raiders also signed Dean Williams from London Towers, Deng Deng from
Mid Sussex and Jamie Burchell from Solihull while coach Gary Stronach
has retired as a player.

Marian have signed rookie American F/C Duane Jones out of South Wesleyan
University

Blue Demons new duo of US import players for the new Super League season
will be rookie forward pairing of John Estick out of Miami-Ohio
University and Joseph McKenny from Jackson State University.

North London Lords confirmed ex-England cap sam Stiller as player/coach

English Basketball Association signed a sponsorship deal for the NBL
Junior and Cadet Leagues with the Royal Air Force.

Kingston Wildcats (formerly Chessington) signed Rob Harper and Keith
Mulholland from Sutton Pumas plus Canadian guard Noel Haynes from
Swindon Sonics.

Former Manchester and Leopards guard John White signed with Franch side
Strasbourg.
