In today's Britball, news from Manchester Giants training camp as the
Uniball Trophy holders prepare for their pre-season bow.


Birmingham Bullets have secured the services of guard/forward Tony Simms
for a third consecutive season. The 6'3 Birmingham native hit 8.33
points per game last season.

Chester Jets signed 6'9 British centre Dave Gardner for a third spell at
the club. Gardner was non-playing assistant coach at Manchester last
season. Jets also re-signed British trio small forward Peter Frempong,
guard Dave Lambert and guard Neil McKelvey.

Killester re-signed American guard Damon Shoultz for a second season.
Shoultz hit 29ppg last season.

Blue Demons coach Pat Price resigned to join Connecticut College.
