Birmingham Bullets signed England international Yorick Williams. The
1.92m guard spent last season with Derby averaging 17.3 ppg in 24 games.
Bullets also signed a title sponsorship with recruitment company
Pertemps.

Newcastle Eagles re-signed England international centre Ian Whyte for a
second season. Whyte joined the club mid way through last season,
averaging 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

The composition of the Irish Men's First Division will be a nine team
league with only Irish or Bosman players allowed. Teams: Queens Belfast,
Ballina, Ballina Colts (new team), Moycullen, Clare Jets, Castleisland,
Neptune, Blue Demons and Kilkenny (new team)
