Hi
Â
If anyone has a gazebo I could borrow to keep the feedstation food dry, please
get in touch. I've got two, but one has broken beyond sensible use, and with the
possibility of rain, I could do with some extra cover.
Â
Thank you.
Â
Morgan

Please read the email below if you have not already received it via the admin
system. Thank you.
 Road Closure means route change
We found out on Wednesday evening that part of the route is inaccessible due to
major roadworks.
If you know the route, it means we need to turn right at the edge of Ardlingly
reservoir instead of left.
It's a short detour and then back onto the normal route. It means the total
distance is cut from 69 miles to 65, BUT, the detour means a brutish climb of
around 18% - short but very hard.
The distance would have been even shorter but we have added an extra loop near
the end of the ride to take it to 65 miles. (Morgan's note to Mitre riders: it's
the Albourne Circuit! Hooray!)
No matter, just follow the arrows and ribbons - you don't need to know the
route.
Timing standards remain the same - although the ride is shorter, that extra
climb compensates and will soften the legs.
The new route is here:Â http://ridewithgps.com/routes/968811Â
You can get Garmin files from this site. I can't verify their accuracy at this
short notice.
Please don't forget to collect and read the Rider-Briefing Notes if you have not
done so already. http://www.puncheur.co.uk/rider_briefing.htm They will not be
updated with the new route info until Friday mid morning, but you already have
the link above, so you should be covered there.
The weather forecast changes daily. Let's hope for a good one.
See you on Sunday!
The PUNCHEUR team

quick look at the Lewes site and I think the difference in pricing is due to
them having a different spec on their kit. I will check with the person who
looks after their kit for more details.

with Kalas first.

that you can make your own minds up. It's important that it's a good quality
kit. I think with the sponsorship it would very much depend on what the
agreement is and it's a very important point you make, we wouldn't want to be
constrained regarding the time period a logo can be permitted on the kit!
