As you may be aware WIBL starts on thurs kicking off at 8pm with Big Yellow Hat against Gashface. Please look at the schedule on the yahoogroup to see when your first game starts.

For those of you who havent paid me yet. I will need the money by thurs at the latest. Afterall i have to pay for the tournament. You can either give me the money on thurs in cash or wire it over to my bank(details below). Remember its 65 pounds because you get more games and more pitch time.

The captains pack will be available to collect on thurs, and we will be following a similar spirit system to last year.

This year promises to be the best year yet.

Hopefully all the captains are now on this list and so its all your responsibility to pass on the messages to your team.

Firstly, this year WIBL is bigger than ever, having 12 teams. This means you all get to play 15 games of ultimate. Thats a whole 3 more games than last year.

As a result of last minute entrys giving everyone and extra game or two. The price has gone up to �65. That is of course the final price increase, since i have now written 3 schedules, and no more teams will be allowed to enter.

I would be most grateful if i could recieve this money ASAP as i obviously need to pay for the halls. This mondays practice would be a good time to give it to me.

The schedule has been written and will be available on the groups page in excel form this evening.(Captains and thopse i thought very interested should have recieved an invite to see the schedule on google docs, if you havent been invited and would like to be let me know)

So we are coming up to the last ever wibl, this thurs and ive been told we may have a special guest appearance

Anyway heres the deal.

RMP probably arent turning up and since we have to have a price giving ceremony we are going to use some of the time of that missing game to give out the prizes, unfortunately i cant really change the schedule in case they do decide to turn up at the last minute, could do with knowing though herpes.

Anyway so you maybe expecting your game to start at a certain time please think it starts half an hour earlier, why not just come to all the games, they are all going to be close thats for sure.

So the quarters are over, and we now have a top 4 and a bottom 4, even if you are in the bottom 4 you can still win the plate so dont give up now.
An interesting quarter final was pumpkin14 vs RMP, last years freshers with a whole year of experience taking on this years newbies, unfortunately this game did take a casualty, but other than that a good game with the new boys proving experience doesnt count for everything especially if your poaching off badly indoors!

With the quarters going with seeding its all looking interesting at the top of the table with the semis about to commence, it could go anyway. Feel free to put your bets on now.

While at the bottom we have a clash of the titans RMP are going to take on Devils dykes, my bet would be on the dykes. Anyway with this game scheduled for 9.00 im sure RMP will turn up.

Trust your all well. The group stages of WIBL are almost over with a possibilty of a three way tie for second place. This may cause a last minute change to the schedule to allow for teams to rest, so for this week could everyone please turn up before ten at the latest, obviously if your playing earlier then turn up then. I have attached the schedule, im also still waiting for aload of money, i need this on thurs otherwise the semis and finals will have to be postponed as i have no money to pay for them, this would cause a large let down to all the teams who paid up in advance. You know who you are if you owe me money.

So thurs 1st February is the next wibl. Containing the quarter finals. Everybody please turn up for this.

But its still al to play for, by my calculations if basic scholing beat pumpkin 14 by 4 or more points they take second seed, if they beat them by less they take 3rd seed and pumpkin 14 remain 2nd if they lose or draw then the table stays the same. Also if favourite spaniel win against bad penny then they take 5th seed. So basically the only confirmed place for the quarters is big yellow hat as top seed.

I have definately attached the schedule this time, so you can see when the final games are. However they may change for next time on the day. Basically if basic schooling and pumpkin 14 take 2nd and 3rd seeds then we may as well swap the quarters round so people playing at 10.30 will play at 10 and vice versa, just so they dont play two in a row. If that confuses you, then its just best to be there for 10 start.

I still need a few spirit votes
Toms team need to vote for Big Yellow Hat
Pumpkin 14 still need to vote for BYH, DD
Basic schooling need to vote for BYH, B
Bad Penny need to vote for Toms Team
I could do with those votes please.

So as you can see we have the top two teams playing first at 9pm, definately one to watch. This is set in stone, nothing will go wrong this week, i hope. Also with spike in austria this week basic schooling could be short on players remember to ask olly cos hes in charge if you can pick up for them.
Another match to watch out for tequilas freshers favourite spaniel take on the complete new team to brighton pumpkin 14, that will be a cracker for the new year.
And dont forget top two seeds play as well, Big week one might may for big yellow hat.

What a great start to the tournament. Ive decided that due to the hall always being booked we will be running wibl for 2 weeks longer these dates are still to be confirmed but since everyone enjoyed themselves last night why the hell not run it for longer.

unfortunately due to some annoying old badminton players this week and perhaps some future weeks we only have 3 hours of hall time, so im afraid the schedule has changed.
big yellow hat(frisbee house) will not play RMP, and favourite spaniel will not play Brightonians(cant remember the name sorry).
Also the first games will start at 9 same length and then we get both halls from 10-11.
So with toms team vs james followers on at 9 you guys need to be there by 8.50 really.
everyone else check the updated schedule
Last thing to note
the tues 5th december has had to change to the thurs 7th december.
