A question that is coming up often is why we are having training instead of
having a regular season but what I I think is happening is that many don't
realize the extent of this opportunity.

There is no telling that we will have ever such talents as Vava, Decio and Mario
to help us to develop our Futsal in the near future because of their busy
schedules. Regarding the way we play we are just improvising our soccer skills
to Futsal, we actually play soccersal. Soccersal will give you some benefits but
not to the extent that playing Futsal right can give us. This is why we stopped
the season to teach it properly. Morever, The sessions will carry two 7 player
teams to have half training/half practice. Players out of these sessions will be
invited to participate at the National Futsal Tournament, July 12-15 2007 in
Ananheim.

Regarding outdoor, there are 2 styles of soccer. These two types of soccer have
been converging in the last century. One style is famous on position and
discipline, the other style is famous for the creativity of their players. An
ideal team for me would be a team that would to have 11 players well organized
as the first style but when they got the ball the 4 players near to the ball
organized the Futsal way.

What is the Futsal way? Skills here does not mean playing alone, but playing
with the other 3 adjacent players, playing more without the ball then with it,
being always aware and a part of the play, creating choices for the ones that
carry the ball, covering each other, defending ain a pressure/cover fashion.
These skills is what Futsal is all about.

Alternatively we can be all in the side line screaming for pressure, because it
is not in their mind to work with the players around them and push each other
like a wolf pack.

Program starts this Sunday, April 22, 2007. For registration or details go to

Select explained. This email supersedes any prior email on this subject.

Don’t miss the select registration this Saturday, March 10 from 9AM to 12 noon.
Details below

Tri-Valley Futsal is pleased to announce a special Select Category. This
category was created to address the need for highly competitive teams who are
willing to represent Tri-Valley Futsal at the Futsal State Cup and the Futsal
National competitions.

Who are the coaches?

Any coach in the league or coach who has prior Futsal coaching experience is
evaluated and selected based on his/her qualifications.

Why not try-outs?

The State and National competition are team competition, not best of the best
competition. All we can do is to group players with common interest to go to the
competition.

How many teams will be created in each age group?

Tri-Valley Futsal will create several teams (A, B, C) in each age category. The
number of teams will be based on the number of players who applied. These teams
is not an attempt to create a super team to play the competition, because the
competition is based on teams, but an attempt to put together a group of people
that wishes to learn more about Futsal and willing to travel to the State and
National cups.

What is the criterion to select the players?

There will be no Try-outs; each coach will select players for their own team.
The only commitment at this point is to play this state cup.

Which Categories are open?

Under 8 Boys, Under 10 Boys, Under 12 Boys, Under 14 Boys, Under 16 Boys, Under
19 Boys

Under 8 Girls, Under 10 Girls, Under 12 Girls, Under 14 Girls, Under 16 Girls,
Under 19 Girls

Men Adult Open, Women Adult Open

What is the cost?

$100 per player for a roster of 8 or more registered players.

$15 per player fee for unregistered player.

$12 dollar fee for unregistered coach.

Can you describe your Program for the State Cup?

• Specialized training

o A session with a nationally recognized Futsal referee to explain Futsal rules.

o A session with a senior Tri-Valley Futsal staff member to demonstrate and
practice Futsal tactics and strategy.

• Tri-Valley Futsal Uniform to be returned at the end of the State Cup (deposit
required)

• State Cup Registration

When and where do we register?

Dear Futsallers,

1. How to get the most out of Futsal: I meant to send this many times before,
there is a reason why it is item ONE in the list, this is based in my own life
experience. My passion for Futsal is enormous but I wouldn't do this league if
we could not give to the people involved a greater lesson than Futsal itself. In
this way, Futsal is just another way to enjoy life, but sometimes it can be just
the opposite.

Pure and simply, to make Futsal a great experience we all have to make the
Parents, Officials, players and coaches feel the love.

The officials are there to help the game proceed in an unbiased fashion to the
best of their ability. The best way to help them is to extend the hand before
and after the game. Otherwise what we are really telling the kids is that the
society is unjust, that the people in charge are against them and that they
cannot win fairly.

I suggest next game talk to the ref, you will be amazed how knowledgeable they
are about the game.

I hope this enhances your Futsal Experience. If you don't agree with me
remember, the game is a great game but life is bigger.

2. Schedule: I will no longer send game reminders with details of the games
because of the typos create confusion. I will just use email to update you on
change notification. Please visit the Web at:
http://www.tri-valleyfutsal.com/Spring07all.htm until I find a more reliable
reminder system using a database.

3. Why the Schedule Changes? The worse that can happen is to go to the gym to
find out the other team forfeited. It is a huge effort to put this events
together for all os us and the league is trying working hard to avoid this
situation, Do what you can to preserve the schedule Intact. Each change has a
side effect and will bounce back somehow to you and others. Please be
considerate to others before submitting for schedule changes.

4. We do care, if you have any problems send an email to

5. We will announce hold a Select Category meeting this Sunday. The Location is

   Dear Tim Sheldon,

I am Ottabek Madyarov, head specialist of Uzbekistan Futsal Association. I am
pleased to know you as one of the most informed futsal specialists.
Futsalonline.com is the most favorite Internet source for fresh futsal news.

I will be appreciative if you provide your suggestions regarding the following
issue. At the moment Uzbekistan Futsal Association is about to launch the final
stage of preparation for the upcoming important international futsal
tournaments, particularly Asian Futsal Championship to be held in Japan. In
order to make the preparation for and participation in the competitions as
successful as possible we are looking forward to inviting an experienced futsal

Taking into consideration your awareness about the current state of affairs in
the world of futsal I believe that you might know someone who could become a
prospective coach for our team. This is why I would like to take this
opportunity and ask you if you can suggest particular candidates who would like

Need some advise, could you pls advise what would be the best turf/surface to
use if i am setting up a futsal business ? I plan to have an arena with
10 courts - wld a mix of different court surfaces be ideal, if so, what types
wld you recommend ?

Also, what sizes wld be advisable (i know fifa rules allow a fair bit of
range) for a good crowd pull.

Many Thanks and pls respond as soon as you can.

The US Futsal Federation was placed in "bad standing" this weekend by
the US Soccer Federation. A grievance hearing was held in Frisco, TX
on Saturday. The results of the hearing were to place the US Futsal
Federation, an affiliate of US Soccer in "bad standing" . In order to
regain " good standing" status, the US Futsal Federation must agree to
make several changes by December 31, 2006. One of the conditions is
for the US Futsal Federation to give up the copyright and trademark of
the word "futsal".

Hi Toby:

Brook Sampson refered me to you in regards to securing a Futsol coach for
Katherine Delmar Burke School. We are an all girls private school located
at 32nd Ave. and California St. Our season has already started, but
unfortunately, one of the coach has to resign to pursue another employment
opportunity.

Do you know of someone who might be qualified and interested in coaching
with me a Var. and J.V. Futsol teams at KDBS. Practices and games are
Mondays through Fridays from 3:30-5:00 p.m. with the season ending on May
12. We pay $25. per hour with two hours minimum on each day of practice or
game.

If you know of someone who might be intersted, please have them contact me
immediately at 415 751-0177 vm 302.

Many thanks,

Gilbert Bagaman
