Futsal Player Development Program Explained   Message List

A question that is coming up often is why we are having training instead of
having a regular season but what I I think is happening is that many don't
realize the extent of this opportunity.

There is no telling that we will have ever such talents as Vava, Decio and Mario
to help us to develop our Futsal in the near future because of their busy
schedules. Regarding the way we play we are just improvising our soccer skills
to Futsal, we actually play soccersal. Soccersal will give you some benefits but
not to the extent that playing Futsal right can give us. This is why we stopped
the season to teach it properly. Morever, The sessions will carry two 7 player
teams to have half training/half practice. Players out of these sessions will be
invited to participate at the National Futsal Tournament, July 12-15 2007 in
Ananheim.

Regarding outdoor, there are 2 styles of soccer. These two types of soccer have
been converging in the last century. One style is famous on position and
discipline, the other style is famous for the creativity of their players. An
ideal team for me would be a team that would to have 11 players well organized
as the first style but when they got the ball the 4 players near to the ball
organized the Futsal way.

What is the Futsal way? Skills here does not mean playing alone, but playing
with the other 3 adjacent players, playing more without the ball then with it,
being always aware and a part of the play, creating choices for the ones that
carry the ball, covering each other, defending ain a pressure/cover fashion.
These skills is what Futsal is all about.

Alternatively we can be all in the side line screaming for pressure, because it
is not in their mind to work with the players around them and push each other
like a wolf pack.

Program starts this Sunday, April 22, 2007. For registration or details go to
