The US Futsal Federation was placed in "bad standing" this weekend by
the US Soccer Federation. A grievance hearing was held in Frisco, TX
on Saturday. The results of the hearing were to place the US Futsal
Federation, an affiliate of US Soccer in "bad standing" . In order to
regain " good standing" status, the US Futsal Federation must agree to
make several changes by December 31, 2006. One of the conditions is
for the US Futsal Federation to give up the copyright and trademark of
the word "futsal".
