Hello all Futsalers

The Dragons FC ( http://www.dragonsfc.org ), home of the
Massachusetts Bu10, Bu11, Bu12, Bu13, Bu19, and Gu10 State Futsal
Champions will be sending its Bu10, Bu12 and Bu19 Teams to this
great Tournament. The Bu19 Columbia Dragons, Region 1 Champions, the
Boys u12 team, Finalist in Region 1 Tourney, and the Boys u9-u10
team, runner up in the region 1 tourney will be attending this
National Tournament which will bring the best of youth and amateur
Futsal in the USA. These teams are coached by Wilian Sampaio, Paul
Dupre, and Mario Cubelli. In Addition to these teams, the defending
Gu14 Shooting Stars from Massachusetts coached by Rick Zanchi will
also be attending and playing in both the Gu14 and Gu16 division.
These coaches all have level 1 above Futsal Coaching Licenses. These
teams will be in California on July 16th and would love to scrimmage
any teams before the tournament. Come visit the teams and coaches.


The above teams played in a league name InSoccer-Futsal (
http://www.insoccer.org ), the largest Futsal league and equipment
provider in the Northeast United States. InSoccer is Massachusetts
Futsal Association's ( http://www.mafutsal.org ) largest Futsal
League and it will host the 2004 Region 1 Futsal Tournament in
February of 2004 close to Boston, MA and Providence, RI. This 2004
Region 1 tournament will not only bring Region 1's best Futsal
teams, but will also bring International Professional teams from
around the world who will compete and provide our youth, amateur
Futsalers, and fans the opportunity to watch Futsal at the
professional level.

Also The Dragons FC will have Marilea dos Santos – "Michael
Jackson", Guest Coach from Brazil working with several Dragons Fc
Teams in August 2003. Marilea is known in the world of soccer
as "Michael Jackson", played soccer for the Brazilian Women's
National Soccer Team for 12 years. During her professional soccer-
playing career, Marilea played in 3 World Cup Women's Games and in
the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta. Her career includes playing for
top teams in Italy, France, Spain and Germany. Lea is considered
the "Pele" of Women's Soccer in Brazil and she has had the
opportunity to play with other famous Brazilian soccer players such
as Sissi, Pretinha and Roseli.
