As part of the application I'm seeking letters of support for this project. Would you be interested in sending me a letter that I can enclose in the completed application?  My supervisor Reed Kempton thought you would be ideal, because of your affiliation with the Phoenix Metro Bicycle Club.   The project features a 10-foot concrete and 4-foot stabilized DG path along the south bank of the Arizona Canal. It will provide a critical link within the regional path system including Crosscut Canal, Arizona Canal (including the Sun Circle Trail and Papago Salado Trail), Indian Bend Wash, and Rio Salado along the Salt River. The path will be the final gap connecting Downtown Scottsdale with the Papago Salado area. Many destinations in Downtown Scottsdale will be within 1/4 mile of this project. The path will be a comfortable, safe and convenient transportation option for pedestrians and bicyclists.   Please let me know if you are willing to send a letter of support to me, and I will add it to the application.
