Yep I thought it was about time I shared what I have learnt over these years of
playing around on my computer. Most things you will find around are usually
crap, but on a rare occassion you will find something good like this
http://www.mixurlifeup.info/ioou and be totally shocked by it, I know I was.

DENVER (AP) -- Before Manny Legace blew out the candles, he shut out
the Avalanche.

Legace, who turned 33 Saturday, handed Colorado its first shutout of
the season, leading Detroit past the Avalanche 3-0 at the Pepsi Center.

"I finally won one on my birthday," Legace said. "I've been playing
games on my birthday all my life and lost them all -- until this one."

Legace (22-6-2) stopped 28 shots. His fourth shutout of the season and
10th of his career left just three teams who haven't been blanked this
year: Detroit, Dallas and San Jose.

The Red Wings are 3-0 against the Avalanche this season, but unlike
their first two meetings, when they combined for 17 goals, this one
was dominated by defense and missed opportunities on the power play.

Detroit, ranked No. 2 in the league in penalty killing, killed off all
seven of Colorado's power plays.

"The power play was terrible," Avs captain Joe Sakic said. "We didn't
support one another that well. ... I don't think we generated hardly
any chances on the power play."

Ten shots to be exact.

"Every time we got the power play, we didn't do anything," lamented Sakic.

Through the first two periods, Colorado managed just five shots in
five power plays, drawing the ire of the Pepsi Center crowd. The Avs
finally put some life into their fans when they got off three shots on
their sixth power play but again Legace kept them from putting the
puck into the net.

Avalanche coach Joel Quenneville was stumped over his suddenly
scuffling power play unit.

"It's been good all year, but the last two games it has really
struggled. We have given away three points in two games, and it was
the difference tonight," Quenneville said. "We lost a little bit of
our momentum in the game in the second period by missing four
opportunities, and that was clearly the difference.

"They are on a roll defensively, killing penalties. Their PK is very
smart, they anticipate well and move well together and they were
really disruptive on our entries, and we didn't have enough puck
presence on our dumps and retrievals and they really frustrated us
tonight."

Shortly after killing the Avs' sixth power play, Detroit broke the
scoreless tie with Dan Cleary's third goal of the season. He took a
nifty pass out of the right corner from Henrik Zetterberg and pushed
it past David Aebischer (20-12-2), who had stopped the first 21 shots
he faced, at 5:40 of the third period.

Cleary said it was a bit of a lucky break.

"I was open because both teams were changing," Cleary said. "The puck
was loose and the puck ended up with us. Zetterberg got it and I shot
it through the legs. ... We showed so much patience, but we were
frustrated, too, for two periods. There were penalties, but you didn't
see them score any goals."

After a Brad May turnover, Tomas Holmstrom picked up the puck and
dished it to Mikael Samuelsson, whose wrist shot from the upper left
circle at 10:01 made it 2-0, and Robert Lang's breakaway goal capped
the scoring at 18:29, sending the fans streaming to the exits.

"The boys gave me a great gift," Legace said. "Three goals in the
third period."

Notes

Colorado's Kurt Sauer replaced Ossi Vaananen as Patrice Brisebois's
defense partner. Vaananen, who led Colorado with a plus-10 rating, had
an operation Friday to repair his right ankle, which he broke the
night before at Nashville. ... Avs F Milan Hejduk, who hurt his neck
Thursday night, is expected to return to the ice Tuesday night against
Edmonton.

Just thought I should pass on my knowledge to all you guys (and gals) on here. I
know just like heaps of other men I am pretty shy when it comes to going up to
someone. I've tried a few different places (clubs, bars, etc) but never seem to
have too much luck. Anyway, a few weeks ago I joined up to
http://www.hookupherenow.info/ibkm and I have to say I am already getting
excited. I was beginning to think I'd end up being alone for ever, but already
been talking to a few interested ladies on there. Anyway, if you're like me it
comes highly recommended!

Well I have been investing in property for a few years now and I currently own 2
investment houses, but recently when looking to get some equity out of my
current home I discovered an awesome mortgage broker, their site is;
http://www.youwontfindloweranywhere.info/dilrb

Basically unlike regular banks these guys are totally independent and you enter
in your details and they find out the absolute best deal for you. You can even
enquire about refinancing your current mortgage through these guys, or simply
taking out your first ever loan. So honestly, if you're into property
check them out, working awesome for me!

From Yahoo:

-- The Avalanche, meanwhile, signed former Canucks defenseman Brad
May, who -- jokingly, he says -- suggested in the leadup to the
Bertuzzi-Moore game that there be a bounty put on Moore's head. Moore
had knocked out Markus Naslund of the Canucks in a previous game.
Since his arrival in Denver, May has heard his own share of boos.

"It's hard for fans to adjust to Brad May being here," Peterson said.

May looks for acceptance with Avalanche
Story Tools: Print Email
Associated Press
Posted: 1 hour ago

DENVER (AP) - When it comes to hockey villains in Denver, there are
the Red Wings, there is Todd Bertuzzi and running a distant third,
there is Brad May.

The Red Wings play in Detroit. Bertuzzi plays in Vancouver. And
starting this season, May will play in Denver for the Colorado
Avalanche.
May was the Vancouver player who said - in jest, he claims - that
there should be a bounty put on Avalanche forward Steve Moore, an
act of retribution for a nasty hit Moore had put on Markus Naslund
in the 2004 season that knocked the Canucks' captain out for three
games.

A few days after May's comment, Bertuzzi backed it up. He took a
cheap shot at Moore, slamming him to the ice and breaking his neck.

Moore is still rehabilitating from the injury suffered 18 months
ago. Bertuzzi served a 13-game suspension and was recently
reinstated by the NHL for the start of the upcoming season. May,
meanwhile, was signed as a free agent by the Avalanche over the
summer.

"I played for a lot of years in this league with integrity and
honor," said May, who has spent most of his 13 years as an enforcer
for the Sabres, Canucks and Coyotes. "I'm proud to be who I am. I
don't feel bad. But I feel the whole situation is regrettable."

May and Bertuzzi are among the defendants in the civil lawsuit Moore
has filed in Denver seeking damages for the injury. Soon, May will
wear an Avalanche uniform on the ice at the Pepsi Center and it is
there that he'll find out whether he will be embraced or reviled by
fans.

Asked about all this Monday, the day the Avalanche reported for
training camp, May stuck by his mantra - he's a man of honor and he
wants to look toward the future.

"People have been booing me for 15 years," he said. "I don't know if
it would be uncomfortable. It would be a different feeling, there's
no question about it, to get that at home. But people have different
opinions. I only have one thing to say if it happens: I have
integrity. I have honor."

Many in Denver questioned whether the Avalanche had honor when they
signed May. It was viewed as something of a slap in the face to
Moore and to fans with whom the team and the NHL has been trying to
reconnect after a long work stoppage.

It's an opinion general manager Pierre Lacroix disagrees with.

"The slap in the face would have been if we signed the other guy,"
Lacroix told The Denver Post last month. "His name is not Todd
Bertuzzi. It's Brad May."

May, who averages 148 penalty minutes a season, claims he made the
comment in jest to a single reporter in Vancouver, a few days before
the game.

The Avalanche, at least publicly, say they've embraced May and look
forward to being his teammate.

"I've said it before, I feel bad for what happened to Steve,"
captain Joe Sakic said. "But Brad's not the one who did it. I'm sure
he feels bad for what happened."

"He's fitting in great," coach Joel Quenneville said. "He's been
well-received by his teammates. I think the fans will like him."

May, of course, wants to be liked, especially by his teammates.

During his 10 minutes of interview time Monday, though, he seemed
perfectly happy with himself, regardless of what people think about
him or the role he played in one of the NHL's nastier episodes.

"I'm happy for who Brad May is," he said. "I'm proud of myself. I'm
a great father, a great husband, a great teammate and I'm excited
about helping this team out."

DENVER (Ticker) - What the Colorado Avalanche lost in skill with the
departure of Peter Forsberg, they hope to have made up in toughness with the
signing
of Brad May.

The Avalanche signed the rugged May to a two-year contract Friday, two days
after Forsberg inked a two-year deal with Philadelphia as a free agent.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 14th overall pick of Buffalo in 1990, May has made a mark in the NHL with
his aggressive style of play, collecting 1,937 penalty minutes in 804 career
games. The 33-year-old also has recorded 120 goals and 146 assists in 13
seasons with the Sabres, Vancouver and Phoenix.

"Brad May is a good skater who brings us additional grit, leadership and
experience," Colorado general manager Pierre Lacroix said.

In 2003-04, May recorded five goals, six assists and 137 penalty minutes in
70 games with the Canucks.

"I'm looking forward to continuing my career in such a great hockey
environment," May said. "I have a tremendous amount of respect for the guys on
this
roster and I'm looking forward to playing with them. This is going to be a very
competitive division, one that could be the most exciting in the NHL."

The addition of May could rustle feathers in Colorado's locker room. May was
a key contributor to the hostile environment that led to Todd Bertuzzi's
vicious attack on Avalanche rookie Steve Moore in a March 2004 game. Moore, who
suffered a concussion and fractured vertebrae, included May in a civil lawsuit
filed earlier this year.

(Buddy! How could you? I absolutely HATE the Aves. Augh!)

DENVER (AP) -- Former Vancouver forward Brad May signed a two-year deal with
the Colorado Avalanche on Friday.

The 33-year-old rugged left winger had five goals, six assists and 137
penalty minutes in 70 games with the Canucks during the 2003-04 season.

He joins a Colorado team that lost two of its best players, Peter Forsberg
and Adam Foote, this week to free agency.

"I have a tremendous amount of respect for the guys on this roster and I'm
looking forward to playing with them," May said. "This is going to be a very
competitive division, one that could be the most exciting in the NHL."

May, who had two stints in Vancouver, played his first seven seasons with the
Buffalo Sabres. He was with the Phoenix Coyotes for three seasons in between
stops with the Canucks.

"Brad May is a good skater who brings us additional grit, leadership and
experience," Avalanche general manager Pierre Lacroix said.

The Sabres chose him with the No. 14 pick in the 1990 draft.

(I found this on the Coyotte's Group. Thought it might be of some
interest to this group.)

Introducing..."I Need My Hockey Fix(ed)" ribbon magnets.

Fed up and disappointed with the NHL Lockout, Doug Sitler of Buffalo,
NY decided to take his frustrations to the streets – literally.

Being slapped on cars across North America are black and orange
magnetic "ribbons" bemoaning the fact that there is an NHL Players
Lockout. The ribbons read: I NEED MY HOCKEY FIX(ED)

The slogan was chosen for it's double-meaning. Due to the NHL lockout,
fans are looking for their "fix" to satisfy their hockey cravings. And
the serious matter of getting the NHL and players to come together to
fix a great sport, in which numerous franchises are losing money.

The 36 year-old hockey fan said creating the ribbons is a way to
publicly acknowledge hockey fans dissatisfaction of the NHL Players
Lockout. "Myself and countless others are frustrated that there has
been no NHL hockey so far this season," said Doug Sitler. "As always
with labor issues in professional sports, it is the fans that are
taken for granted. By using magnetic ribbons, this is my small way of
voicing the hockey fans' opinion."

how about may, no fuckin hockey this year, does he whine and cry and
go play in europe , no he puts on a charity game in Vancouver, with
nhl players, bertuzzi ,jovo, naslund and some from other teams, ,it
has already sold out the pacific colliseum. So now the vancouver
fans get to see at least a bit of hockey with some nhlers and at the
same time a good charity gets a bundle of cash
what a class act.
