DENVER -- Colorado Avalanche forward Brad May is expected to miss four
to five weeks because of a sprained knee, the team announced
yesterday.
He suffered the injury in the second period of Colorado's 5-2 win over
the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday.
The Avalanche called up forward Frantisek Skladany from Lowell of the
AHL.
