Ladislav Nagy scored twice and Shane Doan added a goal and three
assists as the Phoenix Coyotes stormed back for their eighth win in
12 games, 6-4 over the fading San Jose Sharks.

The Coyotes' slim playoff chances looked even more bleak after they
fell behind, 3-0, following one period.

But Nagy sparked a four-goal outburst in the second and scored again
early in the third to give Phoenix a 5-3 lead.

Sharks rookie Niko Dimitrakos got his second power-play goal of the
night with 77 seconds to play, but defenseman Ossi Vaananen scored
into an empty net 54 seconds later to seal the win as Phoenix climbed
within eight points of Edmonton for the final Western Conference
postseason spot.

"It had to be done and it was done," Coyotes coach Bob Francis
said. "We were down, 3-0, but we were playing very well."

The collapse left San Jose 13 points behind Edmonton with 15 games to
play. After the game, the Sharks continued to dismantle their
disappointing team by trading defenseman Bryan Marchment to Colorado
for two draft picks.
