Friday, February 14: The Phoenix Coyotes ended a four-game slide as
Daymond Langkow scored his second goal of the game with 2:22
remaining for a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild, who were denied
a team-record third straight shutout.

Langkow capped his third multi-goal effort of the season when he
stormed through the slot and put a rebound of Ladislav Nagy's shot
off the crossbar and past goaltender Manny Fernandez.

"Nags and I came across the blue line," Langkow said. "I tried to
pick a spot in case Nags got the shot away, and he did. I turned
around and it came right to me. There was a bit of traffic in front,
so I just tried to control the puck and come across a little bit and
get a shot away."
