May vs Downey- Downey wanted May a shift earlier
but May was more concerned with getting a goal on the
shift. Then towards the end of the shift Downey ran
Lemeiux. The very next shift these two get, they drop the
gloves. Nice long squareoff and again just like the
May/Brown fight May nails Aaron with a right. May tries a
couple of more noggie shots while Downey wrestles him
and takes off his helmet. May throws a couple of more
shots. They grapple some more and then just get loose
and start swinging wildly! May with a left that
grazes Downey's face, and throws another one that just
misses. Downey comes back with a wild one, which again is
returned by May. Then May NAILS Downey with a left, and at
the same time Downey lands a nice left on May. Downey
falls to the ice after that left and as May starts
going down for the cover, Downey gets up real fast and
tries to get a couple of more shots in. <br><br>Win for
May with a great punch at the end of the fight. It
looked like May practically ripped the skin right off
Downey's nose, it was bleeding in the penalty box, looked
almost like a burn...I heard Downey needed stiches to
fix that also...
