Surprised. I think I was with the majority who thought Oscar was just too big to lose to a good smaller fighter. As the adage goes, a good big man will beat a good small man. I dont know if Oscar just lost it overnight or if his weight loss (and new diet) had anything to do with his collapse, but he just wasnt there.
However, seeing Manny perform as he did, I wonder just how much more competative it could have possible been. At least there would have been the drama of Oscar's left hook, but Manny seems to be at his peak as a fighter.
I think that Pacquiao-Hatton will be more competative (and the fight I wanted to see, rather than De La Hoya-Pacquiao), and rumors are swirling that Mayweather is considering a comeback against either of those two (why he would fight Hatton again, I dont understand. Is it because Senior is his new trainer? I dont see what he has to gain from it).
