Hey everybody,

How about that Miguel Cotto/Zab Judah Fight?!! I wish Oscar and
Floyd would have thrown down like that, boxing needed a good action
packed fight and Zab & Miguel gave us one.

We had a special guest over for the fights. Heavyweight LOU
SAVARESE is in Las Cruces training for his June 30th PPV fight
against EVANDER HOLYFIELD in El Paso. I had former Lightweight
Contender and current Trainer- Louie Burke, and Trainer-Dan Cushner
over for the fights and some other folks, and I was told that Lou was
staying at a nearby Motel, and really wanted to see the PPV of the
Cotto/Judah Fight but none of the sports bars were showing it! So we
invited him and his friend/trainer "Paddy" over for the fight!
That's me with Lou in the picture on the Home Page of this group, and
the guy is HUGE! He is 41 years old, and looks about 30. He holds
wins over James Buster Douglas, Tom Glesby, and Tim Witherspoon (to
name a few). Lost to Mike Tyson by KO, and George Foreman by Split
Decision! He's been in big fights before. I wish him the best in
his big fight on June 30th. He is a very nice gentleman, and we
really enjoyed visiting with him! He couldn't believe that I had a
Black and White autographed picture of him that his manager had sent
me many years ago!
