Hi everybody,

Just wanted to let you know about our fight on Fri night Feb. 24th at
The Isleta Casino & Resort at Isleta NM (near Albuquerque).

Our guy- CESAR GUTIERREZ (Holguin) made his Pro Debut against local
favorite- Willie Villanueva, who was also making his pro debut. We
lost a 4 round decision. Much controversy, and there has been a
protest lodged to have this decision changed to a "No Contest". Both
fighters fought well, and I couldn't have been prouder of Cesar! The
young kid who turned 18 on fight night had the look of a seasoned
professional. Never lost his cool even though he suffered a broken
nose in the 2nd round! He dominated the 1st round, and The 2 Woman
Judges gave that round to VILLANUEVA!!!???? The other rounds were
close! Isleta Tribe Commission inspector DID NOT ALLOW US TO USE
ADRENALINE CHLORIDE 1/1000 FOR THE BLEEDING! He said it wasn't "Legal
here"... After the fight, the Ref said it is, and the head of the
Commission said it was legal! Manager/Trainer Dan Cushner has filed
a letter, we'll see what happens! The 2 Lady Judges scored it 40-36,
or 4 rounds to 0 for the Local Kid.
