Hi Fans,
Sheesh, that game against The Lions was WAAYYY too close for comfort.
When the team was down 21 to 13 I really had a strong feeling they
were going to lose. And I almost never have that feeling. I always
have faith that they'll pull it out if they are behind (usually I'm
right :)). Well, I guess shame on me for doubting our boys. Luckily
they played like the team they are in the 4th quarter and overtook a
mediocre Detroit team - 28 to 21. Hopefully this was a wake-up call
for the team to work on their miscues and decrease the penalties which
really kept The Lions in the game.
Miami potentially poses a tougher challenge. Although they lost last
week, The Dolphins have jelled over the season and have been playing
much better over the last 5 weeks. They always play The Pats tough -
particularly their defense. The game is at 10AM PST and will be
played in Miami. The Pats are 2 games above The Jets for the East
Division crown and I believe are currently slated as the 4th seed for
the playoffs if they were to start today. Although they are in the
so-called driver's seat, wins down the final stretch are still very
important (particularly division ones like this upcoming game).
Good seeing a big crew at our new hangout (Spitfire) last Sunday. The
game is not slated to be shown on regular broadcast for the Seattle
area, so Direct TV is the only source to see the game. Hope many of
you can join us this Sunday!
Go Pats!
Chris
