Hi Gang,

Things have been a little quiet on here for a while so I thought I'd
mention a couple of events happening soon that are worthy of putting
on your calendars.

First is the MLB All Star Game.  It's coming up on Tuesday July 12.
This All Star game is particularly significant because for the first
time in a while 4 Red Sox players are on the starting team (Ortiz,
Ramirez, Varitek and Damon).  Game time is 5PM.  I'm suggesting we all
head over to Floyd's to watch (for you new folks - Floyd's is located
on 1st Ave. N. in Queen Anne, near the Key Arena).  Hope to see some
of you there!

And speaking of the Sox, their upcoming series against The Yankees is
coming up soon too (Fri. July 15 to Sun. July 17).  There's a place in
Kirkland called TJ's that a fellow Red Sox fan owns.  A few of us are
thinking of taking a trek there on Sunday the 17th to check it out and
get a little change of scenery.  Game time on that day is 3:05PM.
I'll post directions to the place sometime next week.
