The conversations about going to Arizona and getting tickets for the big game have been fast and furious over the last 24 hours among Patriot Nation and so I just wanted to share some info that you may find helpful.
First of all, I started up a Yahoo Group called Patriots Tailgate for us Pats fans going to any road game, especially those west coast games coming up next season (Seattle, Oakland, San Francisco and San Diego) but since the Super Bowl is not in Foxboro this is a road game too and our group is sharing info with each other about events going on, how and where to purchase tickets for the game and anything else going on in the Phoenix/Glendale area.
If you are coming out or are just interested in keeping up with what's going, please join the group. The more people we have with their eyes and ears open the more info we have to share and the greater experience we have next week.
Here are some other links that you might find helpful:
New England Patriots Fan Club of Arizona will be having a Thursday night party at the Vine Sports Tavern and of course a Super Bowl party on Sunday for those without tickets to the game. The info has not been posted yet but check back periodically.
Trying to find a great place to watch the game with other like minded Pats fans. Where is everyone going to be Sunday afternoon. Have seen several places mentioned over the months. Went to the The Chicago New England Patriots Football Meetup Group but nothing is set up there yet. I will be driving in from outside the city and would like to iron out the details ASAP.
Sure I could watch the game at home or at any old bar, but for something like this I would like to be with other Pats fans.
Go Pats
Erdoboy - Check out my pictures from the most recent 4 games of the season Patriots Archive.com
We started up a new Yahoo Group specifically for Pats fans going to
road games. In 2008 the Pats will be playing up and down the west coast
(Seattle, Oakland, San Fran & San Diego) plus Indianapolis and of
course at each AFC East opponent (Buffalo, NY & Miami).
We'll be organizing tailgate parties for each game and doing what we
can to help everyone get tickets.
Please join the club if you might be interested in going to one of
these road games and help us spread the word so that Patriot Nation can
represent at home and AWAY.

Go Pats!
Now that's funny. I joined the Red Sox group at meetup.com in 2004,
and saw all 4 WS games at Monsignor Murphy's. Sometime after the World
Series, meetup started charging for access, so someone from THAT group
started THIS Yahoo! group. Now, 3 years later, someone from the
replacement group is plugging the group it replaced. Circle of life, I
guess.

in response i sent to an email from a friend in boston....
"Sox 2-3 in the series. Pendulum may have started swinging our way. I need some words of wisdom from the Massholes of what to expect this weekend. I want Boston to be the first city to win a World Series, Superbowl, and NBA Championship all in same season."
From Rob:
Here’s what you should expect:
Joe Buck and Tim McCarver will still talk about Manny’s 320 foot RBI single.
Both may even start to make out
somewhere between the 4th and 5th inning after they mention Joe Torre.
Schilling in the bottom of the 3rd inning will be caught by Fox cameras in the dugout rubbing strawberries into his sock near his right ankle.
Some townie from Saugus, who bought $300 bleacher tickets from his season-ticket holding
boss at Point of Pines Landscaping in Revere, will show up covered in bug bites as he tried to create a poster sign taunting Carmona with dead mosquitos glued on it. The motive? Too many bud heavies.
A series low of 3 ground out double plays from the Sox will keep the score low until the later innings when Ellsbury heats up.

I would avoid Monsignor Murphy's if I were you. I was running late after work yesterday and wouldn't have made it to Lincoln Park for the first pitch, so we headed to Murphy's for the game. Everything was fine until the 5th inning, when they turned sound from the game off and turned the freaking jukebox on! It took a whole inning to figure out why Coco got doubled off since nobody could hear that he didn't re-touch second base! It's their bar, and I can respect the fact that they can run it however they want to, but they obviously care more about the party than the game. I won't go back, at least not for a Sox game.
My wife and I watched the '04 BoSox win the World Series at Monsignor Murphy's - great place, but it gets a little crowded, and there's very limited food selection. Nic & Dino's is a little bigger and
definitely has a better selection for food, so we've been going there when we need our Boston fix lately.

Does Kasey's have a New England connection? This would be great. I work
right down the street, at Columbia, & this would be really convenient.

I think the bar on Broadway you're thinking about is Brendan's. For Pats
games, a group of us has been meting at Kasey's in the South Loop. Take a
peek at http://sportsfans.meetup.com/49/?gj=sj5 if you're interested, we get
together every week.

Actually The Store has become a lot LESS Pats friendly. Once Nic of
Nic and Dino's sold it and opened the other place the new ownership
put up with Pats fans for a bit but have been less and less friendly.
I would say Nic and Dino's is best. Or Monsignor Murphys or there's a
bar on Broadway right next door to the Lakeshore Theater that is a
Boston bar. If forget the name but it's a small place right there.

yeah, Nic and Dino's should have it. Also, the Store on Halstead is a Pats bar.

I've only been to Nic & Dino's a few times (so others on the list please correct me if I'm wrong), but as far as I know, it's owned by two expatriate Bostonians and it's truly a Boston fans sports bar. I've never seen a Pats game there, but I bet it's a good place to watch tonight. If the Bruins get good again, this would be the place to get my hockey fix here in the midwest.

Hi all--
I guess the times for Wednesday's and Friday's games aren't available
yet, but I'm wondering if Nic & Dino's (Lincoln Park) is still the place
to go on the North Side.
What a difference two years makes . . . Sox first-game starter will be
Beckett, and thank heavens not Matt Clement . . .
Best,
Tony
you can also watch the game at the Store on Halstead near Armitage. There have always been seats when I went and they provide free food like pizza and wings every sunday

I am moving to Chicago this weekend, (Aug 26,2007). And Yes, I would like to know where I can watch this game assuming that they
have seats that are not all reserved like the place in Santa Monica where I tired to watch the Packers game last year.
BTW, if you get a chance please check out the pics I took at training camp this summer. Google New England Patriots Archive.
BTW Part Dos Rumor is that Assante is going to sign his tender offer, and soon.
