Hey all... I was doing some spring cleaning and came across a bunch of mini Super Bowl XXXIX banners that they handed out at the home opener at Gillette Stadium a couple of years back.  As I only need one - anyone want one?

Send me an email at mike@... and I will pick emails at random, and then email you and ask for your snail mail address.

GO PATS & SOX!

Thanks for the clarification guys...if you saw the gameday attendance in Storrs you wouldn't think anybody knew there was a hockey program.

Papelbon, Lester, Beckett, and Dice-K, among others, reported to Ft. Myers today.  Opening day in KC in 48 days baby!

If y'all thought it was bad on TV, you should have seen it in person.  Unfortunately, I was there.

Though I was in very good company as the stadium was more blue and silver than teal and orange.  Rarely do I ever leave a game early, but since just about everyone else in Patriot Nation exited after that "trick" play in the 4th quarter, I wasn't gonna leave the stadium alone.

There were a few Fish fans heckling me, but most Dan Marino fans were muttering to themselves, "oh my gosh, we are beating them!"

Oh well - back to The Store on Sunday to see the Pats and Texans...

This is the annual contest where fans vote for their favorite team, and Campbell's gives cans of soup to the hungry.  I don't really know much about it, other than the fact that the Packers pretty much lead all other teams, and the same for this year.

Not a whole bunch of action going on here!

Any thoughts on the Pats from Sunday? Probably one of the WORST games
I've ever seen them play. Hands-down worse than the 31-0 loss to
Buffalo back in '03. Defenses aren't scared of this offense...there's
nobody that can stretch the field, the secondary looks lost, and the
O-line should be ashamed of themselves. Someone also needs to sit
Hobbs down and tell him it's not cool to celebrate a good kickoff
return when you're down 21-0 in the 4th quarter. And that roughing
the passer call? 15 yards because Harrington TRIPPED?!?!?!? This is
why I'm 23 years old and well on my way to developing an ulcer...

Bud's Place in St. Charles is our hangout.  It doesn't have a fancy name but it's a great bar with flat screen TV's at every table.
There are about eight of us Pats fans that go there, needless to say, we could use some more bodies this week as we'll be outnumbered!

Subject: [bostonfansinchicago] Bears-Patriots Game Get Together! Anyone?

Where are you all going for Sunday night's game? It would be fun to
get a big group to go to a Patriots-friendly bar.

Any of you up for going to The Store on Halsted or Nic and Dino's on
Armitage? Other suggestions?

Hey... anyone out there? :)

I was back at Gillette for the home opener, and picked up a few
"extra" of the giveaway, a Patriots / Bank of America checkbook
holder. B of A is now offering Pats checks... don't know if you can
get them here in Chicagoland or not.

I will be at The Store on Sunday for the defeat of the Jets, and I can
bring them along - email me... while supplies last! My friend the
Jets fan will be with me, so we will have a target for our (hopeful)
ridicule!

GO PATS!

Please add me.

Additionally, is there a way to adjust this e-mail
list so that when a person hits "reply" intending to
respond to one person, the entire group doesn't
receive the message?
