Re: [bostonfansinchicago] Re: thanks!

I would avoid Monsignor Murphy's if I were you.  I was running late after work yesterday and wouldn't have made it to Lincoln Park for the first pitch, so we headed to Murphy's for the game.  Everything was fine until the 5th inning, when they turned sound from the game off and turned the freaking jukebox on!  It took a whole inning to figure out why Coco got doubled off since nobody could hear that he didn't re-touch second base!  It's their bar, and I can respect the fact that they can run it however they want to, but they obviously care more about the party than the game.  I won't go back, at least not for a Sox game.

My wife and I watched the '04 BoSox win the World Series at Monsignor
Murphy's - great place, but it gets a little crowded, and there's very
limited food selection. Nic & Dino's is a little bigger and
definitely has a better selection for food, so we've been going there
when we need our Boston fix lately.
