Stan, Guy: LUVED The Show!!
Greetings from the 'BurgH. I hate to bring the bad news below, but Stan Savran's last Sportsbeat will be this coming Monday evening, July 13th. The last show will run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. It will feature a reunion with his old partner, Guy Junker: a two hour special on Black & Gold highlights from the last 18 years that the show was on the air. So, if you've got a Pittsburgh connection and you can't see this last show, have them make a copy of it for you. (Pass this info on to all Black & Golders.)

The longest running sports show in Pittsburgh is being canceled.
Like watching Steelers/Penguins/Pirates pregame and postgame coverage? Like watching Mike Tomlin’s Press Conferences? Well, FSN Pittsburgh has canceled Stan Savran’s Sportsbeat. For many of us living outside of the Pittsburgh area, this is our only/best way to keep in touch with all Pittsburgh sports and get a nightly fill of everything Black N Gold. Sportsbeat was the flagship show on FSN and Stan Savran was the face of the network. No clue how things shake out from here but the backlash will certainly be huge.
