Hey folks,
Like Richard, I've been getting geared up for the season -- can't wait for
things to get rolling with training camp.
Also, I wanted to let yinz know that I won't be at Roggies much this fall.
I've got an opportunity to do some research back in the 'burgh for about
five months. Strangely, when my advisor asked me when I wanted to start
there, I said September instead of May... go figure. :)
Anyway, although it'll be great being home for a football season, I'll miss
watching the games with the great crowd at Roggies. I might be back in
Boston for a weekend or two and will definitely come by if that happens.
Here we go...

THIRTEEN DAYS UNTIL TRAINING CAMP!!!
I'm starting to think about Steelers Football!!
(OK, I never really stop thinking about Steelers Football; at least
its closer this time of year than in February or March....)
Who's planning to go watch the Hall of Fame Game at Roggies?? I will
definitely be there! I even put a possible date on the back burner
when I discovered that she wanted to get together the night of the
game. Steelers first, dates second...! unless your date is a
Steelers fan, of course!
Anyway; met two great people from Pittsburgh at the museum where I
work yesterday. the one woman is a teacher who's school played the
Steelers in a b-ball game this past winter. she had to go up against
Big Ben, said that he is a total ball hog...and she told him so, a
lot! she also said that Louis Lipps was THE coolest, nicest guy in
the world.
we talked Steelers for @ an hour! Got me PSYCHED for the season!
One of the Steeler blogs has a question, so I'll ask our group the
same one: who do you hate more, the Pats or the Bungles???
let the debates begin!
HERE WE GO!!
Richard
