I was at the Sports Depot just yesterday for the first time since
the last Steelers game.  The manager was not there, but I asked the
female bartender about what would be happening.  It was confirmed to
me that they are changing it into a seafood restaurant, but they are
keeping the current menu and simply adding some seafood dishes.  
The renovations are to begin after the Celtics season is over (which
I guess is tonight :)...I never liked them) or sometime around June
15th.  She asked me if we would be moving to another establishment
and I told her I certainly didn't have the time to go around to find
another place if we should decide this.  Plus with the trouble we
had with numerous individuals, it certainly tends to wear on me.  So
in essence, my enthusiasm just isn't what it used to be and some
others are going to have to step up to find a potential new place. 
I was approached prior to the 1st game last year by a former Sports
Depot bartender and native Pittsburgher who worked up the street and
offered to cut a deal between us and them.  We had already worked
things out with the Depot so I saw no need to pursue this avenue,
but now maybe the time for this is at hand.  I don't know the name
of the place, but it's very near the Sports Depot.
The Sports Depot also told me they were not sure what would be
happening to the back room.  It may still be in tact after
remodeling, but this would have to be asked to the Sports Depot
management.
