BOSS: Brisbane Old School Skaters
"If it wasnt for the old school there'd be no new school"
Over 30,35 or 40 and still rolling or want to?
Are you over the whole 'alpha male', 'still got something to prove' performance hype of the new school? Had a gutful of being snaked by 'park' kids with no respect?
There is an alternative. Hang with the zimmerframe set of the Brisvegas skate scene?
This is the skate site / forum for those old enough to know better but still too young to care.
Dedicated to those of us who are unable to forget where and when we began. When skateboarding changed our lives as we changed skating. Forever.
A forum for those who still remember '72 - '77. The second wave after the 60s fad had crashed and burned. Garages, ditches, school yards then homemade ramps and abandoned pools, not to mention our punk rock, ska and rockabilly.
This one is for those, who against all parental advice back when, dedicated their lives to transmorphing the riding of silly wooden toys into a legitimate lifestyle pursuit: S4L / Skate For Life!, and now for the most part are fathers themselves (how our world has turned).
If you are still up for it, then you've found some like-minded souls. Many of us can barely grind and dropping into anything deeper than we are tall, terrifies, but we've been surprised how quickly it all comes back. Well almost all.
Want to remember? Want to reclaim who you were and what you stood for?
WANT TO FINISH OFF THE JOB?
Drop us a post and come roll with the 8" plus wide set. No egos, no nothing, just fun for fun's sake (follow under nobody).
'We may not win but we must never give in'
There's a quiet momentum gathering. We're coming back.
If not for us then for them. They don't know it yet but they need us. As we need you.
You me us! BOSS

Re: Seepage...
Tone and I ended up checking them out... Inala is still leaking like sieve but Alex Hills is good. Ended up having a good little skate at Alex. Cheers Andy
