1. With a week before "Selection Sunday" there are many questions out
there including a really big one, "With 2 losses in a row, has Duke
lost the #1 seed?" Let's put it this way, it's the next best thing to
a "mute" button for "Dukie V."
2. GW beats Charlotte on a last-second tip-in in OT. Without
their "Pops" star, are they a #1 or a #2? GW, Gonzaga, Memphis;
the "opposing viewpoints" amongst the #1 seed hopefuls.
3. Ohio St. takes on Purdue today with a chance to win the Big 10
outright. Since Iowa is much more appealing as a #1 seed in the
conference tourney, it's Purdue 72, "Black-eyes" 66.
4. Hope Bonnie enjoyed herself in KC last night, although the mood
might've been a little less festive admist the cloud of labor strife
hanging around the NFL. Oh, for her to be with a new network now...
5. And the Oscar goes to... Oh, silly me, I didn't see any of the Best
Picture nominees. Pretty sure Our Sweetie saw one or two.
Of course, we're just waiting for the real "selections" one week from
