Hey Jason

Your protein consumption should be at a level of one gram per pound of lean body mass. If you need to use supplements then look for Whey Protein Isolate for pre and post workout consumption and casein based proteins for the remainder of the day. Many of the available protein powders are a blend with Whey Concentrate. Although this is not the best form, it is cheaper and still suitable for adding mass.

Hi there The basic idea is 1-1.5 gram of protein per pound of body weight. I've seen some people suggesting more, but I don't think the body can do anything...

Hiya, Thanks for your reply. What's the difference between those two protein? Also, I am a pretty hard gainer, I am difficult in putting on weight. Any further...

roughly 1 gram per pound of body wieght during training...half that if you are not training. hope this helps...
