Mike...I am probably not calling them the correct name...but it is a curl only palms downs (instead of up as with a regular curl). When I added that in I can really feel it in my entire arm...not just my bicep.Also..I'm sure the triceps stuff I do is a "skullcrusher" (over my head and lower it back and then up)...I've knocked myself several times with my dumbbell!By no means do I have good arms...yet! But I am working on them!Kevin.

(When I started I started at 17.5---20--- 22.5---25)Hi Kevin and Keith,Thanks for the info; I will have to try this. Some questions though:Do you you one set of each of these movements or do you change the exercise at each workout? What are forward curls? The last movement "over the head curls " are these lying triceps extensions or "skullcrushers?" for the triceps? http://www.exrx.net/WeightExerci ses/Triceps/ BBLyingTriExtSC. html By the way, this is a good site to refer to when you are looking for exercises and / or know a movement but don't know what it is called.I agree that nothing beats having a great motivator to keep your progress going. I am licky that I have one in the gym and a few chat buddies (esp Rev Keith) that help me get my rear into the gym even when I might not feel like it!Thanks again for the info and regards,Mike

And I'll let you know of my progress.Actually...when you start out with little twig arms it probably isn't hard to add inches!I use dumbbells and Keith suggested that I do a routine where I start at a lower weight...higher reps...and increase the weight with each set while lowering the reps as I go...I do 4 sets...I do curls....hammer curls....forward curls...over the head curls (I don't know what you call those)...currently I start at 37.5 lbs then 40---42.5----45. (When I started I started at 17.5---20--- 22.5---25) I do think I have made a lot of progress....for me anyway. I've been trying to tone up and lose weight at the same time....I've been stuck at 206 for a while (I hate plateaus)... but Rev Keith really kicks my butt and motivates me. He is a work out machine and I really appreciate him a lot. I encourage everyone to find someone who does that for them. Not only does Keith motivate me but we have become good friends also....we pray for each other and it just is good to have someone like him.Kevin
