There's still time to sign-up for the 2nd Annual Sport Blowgun
Target Shooting competition (Saturday June 11th). It'll be held at
the Bear Swamp Archey Complex in Upper Mt. Bethel, PA.
All blowgunners are welcome to participate in the Match shoots.
NSBA members or members of an IFA national affiliate can participate
in the Point competition, which starts promptly at Noon. (For non-
NSBA members, a Point competition is their rank test, where they
shoot to officially register their scores towards achieving rank
advancement.) Open shooting starts immediately upon completion of
the Point shoot.
We'll have standard competition shooting (see how well you can shoot
on a standard course), and if there is enough interest and
participants: a Long Distance Record attempt in the Olympic Archery
field across the street; A First Nations-style Field Competition in
the half-mile loop, 16 target archery field range behind the main
target range.

There's plenty of free parking! Also, if you have a Pennsylvania
resident or non-resident fishing license, you can try your skill at
blowgun fishing at scenic Minsi Lake, a short walk to the west of
the complex. There's even a charcoal grill and covered picnic area
at the Olympic Archery range, if you want to make a day of it and
grill up some burgers or hotdogs while you're there.
As always, the competition is fee free!
E-mail registration accepted up until June 1st, 2005 - see the NSBA
website for details.
May your darts always fly true!
