paper). Contact Renee Bookout at crhnm@... to get it into the
PNJ Pelican-Gulf Breeze edition. Give both info on how the ride started
and why.  You can let each know that i told you to send to them and
that you hope they will help you get the word out. Ask Renee how to get
it into the main PNJ...she may be able to help.

Also...you might want to contact the Independant newspaper and get it
on their calendar.

Get a couple of fliers to Steve and we can put them up at Gulf Breeze
Aerobics and Fitness and Chips gym.

Not one to worry myself, but I would like to have more pre
registrations for our event in October by now. To be exact, we don't
have many at all. No doubt lots of people are planning to attend, they
just want to look at the weather before I suppose.  It does make a
person a bit nervous, I admit!

 

I need a contact for the New Journal and any other news outlet I can
get including Ft. Walton and Mobile.  Does anyone have experience
getting articles written.  I was lucky a couple of years ago with the
Fenner Ride, we got a nice article written and it helped boost our
attendance.  I would very much like to have this happen again, but I
have no specific contacts.  Please let me know if you can help in this
most important matter.  Also, I need ideas for other ways to network
and advertise in the other entertainment papers.  I'm back in town from
vacation hopefully on the 3rd or 4th, depending on the airline
disruption, and
  I'll print more posters and applications first thing if
you have a place, like your gym or work to post them.  Contact me with
your ideas or info.

When was the last time we went to Munson via Pleasant Home
Sandy Forrest(Landing) At least four rides ago.  25 miles
first leg.  The long riders can go East or West on highway
4 and make it into any length with other store stops available.
The rest can make it 50 via same route back or 45.5 via Red Rock

I'm up for the hour earlier, but I'm flexible.

as far as route, my only preference, is minimize highway riding time, stay
on low traffic roads
a pace that attracts more riders is fine with me.

I'm not sure what I will be doing, but I think is going to make me stay true to
my agreement to pace the slower riders.
Although, a few of them did say they would ride longer distances if I would pace

Hey Bill,
I really appreciate the offer...however, i think i've decided to stick around
here and do a long ride locally...i've got to save my dinero for some larger
