The intent is to leave at 7:30. This rarely happens because of 7:25
arrivals, miscellaneous personal issues and mechanical issues. So we
leave at 7:45 or so. We've gained at least 5 minutes by having a
route already planned instead of deciding the morning of the ride.
Thanks for picking one out John.

These routes are offered for your consideration. John was the contributor again.
Come on folks, ANYBODY can come up with a route!! Just let me know so we can
avoid the Saturday morning confusion.
Short route- 50 Miles
Go to Munson store via Indian Ford/Pleasant Home/Sandy Landing and return same
route
Long Route 66 miles
Start with short group, go to Munson Store
Hwy 4
L Lewis
R 399
L Greenwood
L on Cobbtown
R on 178 (Spanish Trail)
L on 89
R on 89/87 (actually straight on 89 as 87 curves off to the left)
L on Magnolia (light)
R on Byrom
L on Park
R on Trailhead
2007 57cm Bianchi Coast-2-Coast frameset. Aluminum with carbon
stays. This is an Italian made frameset and not one of the lower end
Tiwain framesets. It was a complete bike, but the bike was stripped
with zero miles on it. So the frameset is new.
I picked it up for Thad when he was wanting to build a road bike, but
something has come up and he unable to build the bike right now so he
said to just sell the frame. (Always remember to take you bikes off
the roof rack before entering the garage.) The Bianchi for sale here
was not on the roof of the car at the time. Actually, there was no
damage to the bikes because he was backing in, but it damaged the top
of the BMW. Ouch! Plus, I think he wants the Chromoly KHS that I
have.
If you would like to see what the frameset looks like you can go to
the Bianchi website and look at the 2007 models. It is the smoke
gray color aluminum C2C. It is the top aluminum model in the Coast-2-
Coast lineup.
Price is $500.00 Retail would be around $1200.00 I am selling it for
what I have in it. Just looking to get my money back.
PS.
While I'm at it, if anyone is interested in my 928SL I am thinking of
selling it too. I will sell it as a frame and fork for $1500 or a
complete (in stock form) for $3500. Retail on the complete bike is
$6500. $3500 is way below dealer cost. It is also a 57cm, and I
have put a little over 2000 miles on it since I picked it up in
July. The bike comes with complete Dura Ace. I have upgraded the
cranks from FSA to Dura Ace also. The FSA handlebars and stem do not
go with the bike. I will be putting those on the next one. The bike
will be completely stock with the exception of the cranks. You can
also see this bike on the Bianchi website in the 2007 models.
Why am I selling? The 2008's are out and I have my eye on another
bike.

It's the time of day one at which one gets home when not married.
I think the triathletes swim at that time but they have other issues.

I thinking about riding at UWF on Thursday morning. The plan would be
to leave the parking lot by the track at 5:30 a.m. and ride 3 laps.
Lap 1 - Chicken Loop
Laps 2 & 3 would be straight down the middle.
After Lap 3, I'll leave and go to my office.
If anyone would care to join me please let me know.
Thanks,
David

The PLAN - which can be revised
37 miles
Munson-Springhill-Neal Kennington-Store on 87
Southridge-Calvary Church-89-87-89
61 miles
(if you ride this route, stay with the group or have a map and a buddy!)
Go to store on 87 with main group
North 87-178-Annie Penton-Howell Pitts-Chumuckla Springs-182-Store
Store-East 182-89-87-89
The 61 route has a couple of shorter options.
I wanted to let everyone know that Kay and I have not reserved any
rooms for the weekend of the ride on the 27th. We are still unsure if
I will be able to be off work. The schedule seems a little messed up
right now with the opening of the other store.

Hello everybody, I just wanted to let you all know that I ride on
friday mornings, usually starting between 8am and 8:30am. If anybody
would like to join me, you are welcome to come over. Due to
scheduling issues, I can not participate on the Saturday morning
rides. Lately, these Friday rides vary from 40-50 miles.

Kudos to Kay and Angela for chasing us over two states for a combined mileage of
about 250 miles. 'Too bad both their solar power units broke down and so they
had to BUY GAS !!!!!!
This Saturday there will be a post-century SAG gas donation jar, probably
inside Truly Spokin.
You know who you are.
