Wow! Great to see so many riders out for a hot Saturday morning recovery ride!
I'm kidding.
So I'm trying to simulate race conditions, field call from work and keep new guy
Pierre from wearing me down between intervals, If not for my heavy breathing I
think he might have caught a nap, every time I looked back at him he looked
so calm and uneffected by the pace.
I did manage to ONCE AGAIN feel the same love of cycling and riding familiar
roads with good friends. What a life!
I didn't get to meet all the new faces, but I know they will be back. Jerseys
look great on you guys! Join in tomorrow morning-8am for an easy ride to Jay
and back. I will be riding with the 18mph group, faster groups are likely but
I'm going to enjoy riding a conversational pace.

Go to Ruth's Store via Red Rock and Sandy Forest = 22.3 miles
Return the same way and do battle with the canoe drunks = 44.6 miles
For those wanting more:
From Ruth's Store
Hwy 4
Lewis Rd
Neal Kennington
Adventure Store on 87 (17 miles from Ruth's)
Southridge
89
etc.
= 56.1 miles total
For the adventurous, how about a new and exciting way to get from 89 in Milton
to the Trailhead?
On Magnolia, cross 87 (Stewart St.) to Okaloosa St. which changes to Sunray St.
which comes out on the Trail just west of the library. Beware sand in road!!!
