Just saw an interesting article in the Equine Wellness magazine. Have not read it yet but it looks promising, it is Going Bitless, Tips for a successful transition. This was in the July/August 2009 issue. Also wanted to touch on a subject also in this issue called Something Fishy, the benefits of fish oil. I have had an experience with this just this week. One of my horses came up lamb. The ex-rays did not show rotation, thank heaven. The farrier suggested rest, foot soaking in cool water and a tablespoon of fish oil. This is another article I am eager to get into. Have anyone read these articles or had any experience giving their horses fish oil?
