Re: [bitlessbridle] Re: Buy a Dr Cooks Bitless Bridle from Dover Saddlery Catalog

The circle X and the crosslines are shorter by the Nurtural.
I ride for many years with the Cook now ( i am a BBAC in the Netherlands) and have now for several days a Nurtural
for testing.
What i saw between them is/ are this

The Nurtural give first the signal on the nose then to the circle X and then to the horses cheek.
The Cook does it almost at the same time, nose and cheek, more speed.
The Nurtural have a bit of slomotion.

So for some horses who doesn't like the "huging" from the Cook, the Nurtural can be a selution.
I have not figure it out yet, have to do more tests. To see more different reactions.
My horse can be ridden in all kind of bitless bridles execpt the rope halter, those tickle said my horse, by headshaking and blowing trough his nose
But all others bridles are no problem. it depents on the horse and rider which bridle fitest the best.
But i think the Cook bridle is a very good one. A good system which fits almost every horse

inge

What's the difference between the Dr. Cook and the Nurtural bridles? Is it just the round thing under the cheek?
