Re: [bitlessbridle] Natural Horse Magazine

Hi Cathie!
Great news!
I've been meaning to post but have been soooo busy and right now I have to turn
off all our fencers to get online (they are shorting out and messing up the
phone line...and i can't even get DSL here yet!)...so while i'm online i have to
worry about the cows getting out :):):)

I will be posting some pics, if I remember how, I was in a parade with Reagan my
Belgian, bitless and he did fine....Of-course everyone thinks the only reason he
can be bitless is because he is a draft. Ha, I'll show 'them' :):) I just bought
a small reining horse (5yrs and spunky) for gaming and barrel racing....and
of-course I will be using the BB...I have a draft BB and now a small BB, it's
so cute :):)...I'm starting with ground work etc... to get him used to the
BB...he's OK with a bit but i'll still be careful before i hop on.

Interesting aside story...there was a Quarter Horse Association trail ride at
our stable and a woman noticed that I was riding with the BB...she loves her dr.
cooks BB BUT she said she didn't bring it because she didn't know how her horse
would act on the trail with other horses...(Oh Lord)....and when she got back
she said that she wishes she had had it because her horse didn't seem to 'like'
the bit...huh duh!

I tell people that i feel safer and more in 'control' with the BB (which is
true) and they still think i'm nuts :):):)

I hope that some day we'll get to meet...

have a nice day,
alix
