I don't know if this would apply to your situation but I also noticed
head-tossing when i
first started using the BB. (I have the synthetic too)....and even now sometimes
i'll get that
response after riding for awhile....In my case, I think that i may get tierd and
start 'yanking'
more rather than gentle tugs and i think that the nose band may ride up my
horses nose a
bit and become tighter or uncomfortable because i notice the hair is
'ruffled'....I've found
that when i concentrate on small/light rein work that we both have a better
ride.
