Can't get it to work, for crying out loud.

Maybe it just needs a new bulb.

Maybe it just needs a new owner.

I need one less thing that doesn't work right.

E-mail your fearful moderator, at mercurial 626 AT HOT Mail dot com.

N Seattle, incidentally.

Custom Bicycle Auction to Benefit Charity:

To support breast cancer awareness, Shimano and five renowned bicycle
frame builders joined forces to create five very special custom
bicycles. These bikes are being auctioned off to raise money for the
Young Survival Coalition, the premier international non-profit
network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to
addressing the concerns and issues unique to young women and breast
cancer. The collaborative effort combined Shimano's core strengths
in bicycle components with the creative genius of the gifted frame
builders to create the five one-off lifestyle bicycles. Shimano and
frame builders, including Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles, Rock
Lobster Bicycles, Sycip Designs, Torelli Bicycle Company and Vicious
Cycles, hope that you will participate in the online auction of these
exquisitely crafted bicycles.

Ride is listed on Cascade Bicycle Club Web site, at
http://cascade.org/EandR/Activities_Calendar_RDetail.cfm?eventID=10351 .

It's a mostly flat 20-35 mile ride on the Centennial Trail, sponsored
by S.P.O.K.E.S.

I can fit two more bikes on my rack and two more people in my old
Subaru wagon (with new brakes--no worries), or I'd just love to go in
someone's car that gets decent mileage.

We must be at trailhead at noon.
