No, I did not make it all the way over to Cape Canaveral but I did enjoy
revisiting Winter Garden.  Used to stay there for a few weeks each year when
Sharon and I were RVing.  West Orange Trail used to be about 10 miles total when
I was riding it back in the 90's - now it goes all the way to Apopka and is
connected to the South Lake Trail in Clermont.  Makes a very pleasant ride, much
of it shaded.

Last year I completed the correct Horrible Hundred course in 8:20.  This year I
bypassed most of the hills and completed my Not so Horrible Hundred in only
8:20.  So much for speed........

Evelyn (and everyone else headed to the Horrible Hundred),

Can I just do Sugarloaf backwards???  It took me 6 minutes to climb the hill
(5.3 mph average) but only 1 minute to descend (28.7 mph average - top speed
41.7 mph) - I want to ride the hill in the wrong direction!!!!!!

Oops - I climbed Sugarloaf twice this afternoon. I forgot, you told me to not
repeat hills - does that mean I don't need to climb Sugarloaf tomorrow????

Just rechecked tomorrow's weather for the ride and it still looks good - winds
only 3 to 4 mph from the north, bright and sunny all day.  If today was any
indication, be sure to bring sunscreen.  I only rode a couple hours and can feel
the sunburn on my legs.

Will be looking for the group in the morning, have a safe trip up here.  See
everyone tomorrow - if I can find you among the 2,000 riders registered for the
ride.

For reference - I have #450.
