biking since 1988 and the best trails are in north San Diego county
at Dixon lake. They have killer single track fast and semi technical
downhill and some climbs that will even challenge the best and you
can still see plenty of wildlife in the area. Sad to say though it's
in Escondido and that is a ling drive so check with the San Berardino
forest web site they also have single track and plenty of vegetation.
I have seen there website but as of yet I haven't ridin it yet. Out
at the Devil's Punch bowl next to Pearblossum there are a number of
trails you can ride. Some are fire roads and others are single track
there is some good riding there and possibly your best bet. head
north to the 210 and go east til you hit the 15. Then go north
towards Barstow and get off on 395 and stay on there til you reach
Palmdale Road/ HWY 18; Make a left take it all the way to the 138
you'll merge on to it naturally and once

sign directing you to the devil's punchbowl. If you reach Littlerock
you went too far.
