URBAN BICYCLE COMMUTER EXPO: Be a part of it!
Saturday May 19th 10AM to 5PM at the One Colorado Courtyard in Old
Town Pasadena.

C.I.C.L.E. (Cyclists Inciting Change thru LIVE Exchange) is seeking
participants for the following:

Funky to Functional: DIY Commuter Bikes Exhibit

Call for Entries: We're looking for customized bikes, cargo bikes,
velomobiles and bike trailers. All entries should have that personal
touch or flair that you just can't find on any bike.

Send a picture of your rig(s) along with your contact info by April
30, 2007 to info@bikenow or call 323-478-0060

Small Cottage Industry vendors:

There is no selling at this event, but we would love to help promote
your business. Do you make bike clothing, panniers, bike bags, bike
art, furniture, or even bikes for everyday transportation? Booth space
is free, and the One Colorado courtyard is an excellent place to
connect with a healthy customer base.

Old Town Pasadena is a popular shopping district, and the Historic One
Colorado houses several retail giants and restaurants -- and provides
lots of foot traffic. This event will be highly publicized.

SPACE IS LIMITED for vending.
Send us a picture of your work along with your contact info by April
30, 2007.
Email us at info(at)BikeNow.org or call 323-478-0040
(if we have already seen your work, there is no need to send a picture)

BIKE WEEK PASADENA is a grass roots initiative organized in
cooperation with the city of Pasadena that brings together "everything
bike" for a weeklong salute to the bicycle and its many uses, from
commuting, to exercising, to just plain having fun.

More than 15 free events are planned from Monday, May 14 to Sunday,
May 20 including:

• Mayor's Bike to Work Brigade led by Bill Bogaard, bicycling
aficionado and Mayor of Pasadena.

• Themed bike tours like the Sunset Sonata Ride, where you can cycle
to an enchanting overlook on the Arroyo Seco, complete with a live
violin and cello duet as well as hors d'oeuvres.

• Free bicycle-related films and documentaries screened outdoors
nightly in the One Colorado Courtyard.

• An Urban Bicycle Commuter Expo featuring folding and electric
bicycles, accessories, cargo bikes and trailers that handle everything
from shopping trips to hauling lumber.

Bike Week Pasadena is a citywide effort to highlight the benefits of
bicycling. Riding a bicycle is an easy way to exercise, reduce traffic
congestion, minimize air pollution, cut fuel costs -- and a wonderful
way to meet your neighbors. This weeklong salute is presented by city
of Pasadena Department of Transportation, One Colorado, Cyclists
Inciting Change through Live Exchange (C.I.C.L.E.), Patagonia and Metro.
