This is a monthly reminder: TOMORROW is Santa Monica
Critical Mass! Time/location details are below.

HOWEVER, this month is a special Critical Mass, which
will end at the Opening Party for BikeSummer 2005.
Get ready for a night of bikes, beer and bands to
kickoff BikeSummer, a monthlong festival of bicycles
taking place throughout the LA area this year.

The party will take place at:
The Arcadia
250 Santa Monica Pier
Santa Monica, CA 90401
9:00pm

$5 regular entry, $3 if you arrive by bike.

Even non-bikers can come and enter to win a brand new
bicycle!

WHAT?
CRITICAL MASS is a monthly bicycle ride to celebrate
cycling, to assert cyclists' right to the road. It
is a demonstration that a better world is possible, a
world free from the automobile, and the traffic,
pollution, and oil wars that it brings. The idea
started in San Francisco in September 1992 and has
spread to cities all over the world.

WHEN?
Friday, June 3, 2005
(and every 1st Friday of every month)

WHERE?
6:30pm Santa Monica Pier (Colorado Blvd. & Ocean Ave.)

Early "satellite" meeting points, which merge into
main group:
- 6:00 pm UCLA (Westwood Blvd. & Le Conte)
- 6:00 pm Venice Beach (1401 Ocean Front Walk)

WHY?
To foster a greater awareness of the bicycle community
in the Santa Monica-Venice area, to meet new people,
and to have fun!

WHO?
Anyone! All are welcome, young and old, experienced
and novice. This is NOT a strenuous ride; we welcome
all bicyclists of all fitness levels.
