Thanks, Adam.  Silly question, but once I park in the zoo lot, how do I get to the trail?  Obviously on bike, but what roads are there for me to take to the trail, that are legal to ride on?

If you start in the Glendale/Burbank area, the Zoo is a great place
to park.  It is free and only about two miles from the LA River Bike
Trail enterance.

Thanks Adam. I scoped out Griffith Park over the weekend and there's an even closer entrance if you park at the zoo and head North up Crystal Springs Road....

A good, centrally located "free" parking lot is Lot 52 on Fiji Way in Marina del Rey...from there you can bike south to Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo...

More Info: Dock 52 is actually centrally located so you can actually get to 3 (MOSTLY class I) trails. 1) If you turn left out of Dock 52 (same side of street)...
