PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
All rides are free unless we are participating in a special ride, the rides are leisurely-paced, community and socially oriented, all abilities are welcomed and we are family friendly.
What to Bring:
A bicycle in good running order helmets and lights if you are riding in our night rides. All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian.
Children under age 9 are encouraged to be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device. Bring plenty of water and a snack too and some money just in case we stop to get a bite to eat during our rides.
Most of all bring your GOOD ATTITUDE and be prepared to meet some GREAT PEOPLE during a FUN ride thru the streets of LA!

ONE YEAR Anniversary
EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB CELEBRATES 1ST YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH
COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE, OUTDOOR MOVIES, MUSIC AND FIREWORKS
On Saturday June 27th, the EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB will be celebrating our 1st Year Anniversary with a community bike ride thru the streets of Northeast Los Angeles .
The event starts at Lincoln Park in Lincoln Heights , just 5 minutes Northeast of Downtown LA. Bike riders are invited to join our celebration by arriving at Lincoln Park at 3pm to start decorating their bikes RED, WHITE and BLUE (It’s the weekend before the 4th of July), check air pressure on tires and make minor adjustments to bikes.
The ride will depart at 4:30pm and pedal at a casual pace thru the communities of El Sereno, Lincoln Heights , Chinatown, Downtown LA, Little Tokyo, over the LA River via the 4th Street Bridge, to the Mariachi Plaza in Boyle Heights and back to Lincoln Park where riders will picnic.
Los Angeles City Recreation and Parks will provide bands and DJ’s playing music. The featured band will be none other than Eastsides own “TIERRA”.
At dusk there will be an OUTDOOR MOVIE THEATER and a FIREWORKS SHOW!
This event is open to the public and is FREE.
All ages and abilities are welcomed.

*** We planning a picnic and are asking everyone to pitch in $12 per person if you plan on eating with the group. We need to purchase food, plates, cups, drinks etc. WE NEED EVERYONE TO RSVP and pay prior to the THURSDAY, June 25th in order to give us enough time to purchase everything. (If you have any suggestions on what you want to eat please let us know as well..)
