Children under age 9 are encouraged to be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device.  Bring plenty of water and a snack too and some money just in case we stop to get a bite to eat during our rides.   Most of all bring your GOOD ATTITUDE and be prepared to meet some GREAT PEOPLE during a FUN ride thru the streets of LA!     MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THESE UPCOMING RIDES       EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB RIDE TO HERMOSA BEACH SATURDAY, JULY 25th 6AM MEET – LEAVE AT 6:30AM   Be prepared for this ride; bring plenty of water, backpack, camera, swimsuit, towels, bike lock & money for three meals, as we ride thru the beach bike paths.    A trailer will transport bikes, we will caravan to Hermosa Beach then ride thru the beach bike paths.  We will have breakfast, lunch and possible dinner on the road.  Please contact us if you plan on taking your bike in the trailer, so that we can have a count on the number of bikes that are going in the trailer.   EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB PARTICIPATES IN NATIONAL NIGHT OUT TUESDAY, AUGUST 4TH Join the Eastside Bike Club as we “RIDE CRIME AWAY”  National Night Out is celebrated across the country on August 4th.  It gives all communities a chance to come out on a summer evening and take a stand against crime in our communities. We will have a booth at this event.  We will be passing out Club flyers to try to recruit new members to join us on our rides. Several hundred to a thousand people are expected to be at this event.  It will take place in front of the Brand New LAPD Hollenbeck Division Police Station.   We encourage all members to participate and make a presence at our booth.  After the event we will ride back to the CHARO Building .  More details to follow in the near future.
